Material is made from select pieces of Aloka vintage kantha quilts often using our own custom colors and color combinations. This piece was designed and sewn by Aloka studio artists and influenced by the vintage Japanese country textiles and their constructions. To create this material, each seam is top-stitched on both sides and in color-matched threads, which creates a flat material with raw edges that can be used for upholstery or as textile art.
You can purchase this piece OR we can design custom yardage in the direction of your color/style brief for $300/square yard with a two-yard minimum.
