This semi-fitted duster was made from an antique hand-embroidered woven cotton Suzani, a textile traditionally used as wall hangings or in the yurts of nomadic people in Central Asia. An original aloka design, we prepared the vintage material with our signature multi-step shampoo and softening process.

In our Athens, Georgia-based studio, our designers created this A-line semi fitted jacket with a plunging neckline and puffed bell sleeves. Served bound seams on the interior showcase the hand-stitching. Thick trim along the bottom of the jacket and sleeves give it a luxurious look and drape. 

Each textile bares memories and marks of the hand and past. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind garment. We carefully curate and prepare these beautifully preserved textiles and embrace imperfections, mending and wear.
